Taking Screenshots

Command-Shift-3 

• Take a screenshot of the screen

Command-Shift-4 

1. select an area: Take a screenshot of an area 
2. click a window: Take a screenshot of a window

above will save it as a file on the desktop, or +Control save it to the clipboard 

Force Quit 

Option-Command-esc
